DARING ROBBERY IN LIMERICK
A daring robbery was committed a few evening’s ago at the residence of Mrs. Blood Smyth, North Circular Road, Limerick. How the burglar or burglars succeeded in effecting an entrance to the premises is not known but they took away a cash box containing some cash and several share certificates, two watches, and some articles of jewelry were also taken, the total value, not including the share certificates, of the money and valuables abstracted being from £12 to £15. This is one of a number of robberies recently perpetrated in the district. The matter is in the hands of the police.
