A serious accident occurred to a young man named Doran, from Skule Bog, on Wednesday evening. He was felling timber on the lands of Glenview, near Ballyneety and as a tree was falling one of the branches broke, fell on him and knocked him down. His leg was broken and fearfully crushed and bruised. Dr. Connolly, of Caherconlish, was in immediate attendance and did all in his power to alleviate the suffering of the poor fellow, who was then taken to Croom Hospital.
